2024 Pacific Northwest Fire Investigation Training Conference

The 2024 training event in Washington State (and surrounding areas) is for those interested in fire investigation and related science topics.

IAAI-WA Mission Statement

The mission of the IAAI Washington Chapter is to provide training, promote the exchange of information, and to act as a resource for those public officials and private persons involved in the investigation and control of arson and kindred offenses.

Membership

Membership is open to any person who is actively engaged in some phase of the investigation of arson. Levels of membership include:

  1. Active – Persons who are representatives of a business or industrial concern and employees of government agencies at the time of their application. The person must also be a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
  2. Non-Resident – Persons otherwise qualified for active membership, who are not residents of the State of Washington and who are members of the International Association of Arson Investigators may apply for active membership.
  3. Associate Membership – Persons otherwise qualified for active membership, who are not members of the International Association of Arson Investigators may become associate members after the determination by the board of their qualifications.
